This Privacy Policy explains how NZCustom Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you play Juicy Smash (the “Game”) on Android. NZCustom Studio is the developer of the Game on Google Play.

By installing or playing the Game you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Who we are

Developer NZCustom Studio
Address 34 Talbot Road Fairlie, Fairlie - 7925 New Zealand (NZ)
Email kiska6620@gmail.com

We are responsible for the personal information processed through the Game.

2. Information we collect

The Game has no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.

a. Information collected automatically when you play

  • Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, country (estimated from your IP address), app version, and identifiers such as the Firebase app instance ID and installation ID.
  • Advertising identifier: your device’s Android Advertising ID, used by our advertising partner (see section 4).
  • Gameplay and usage information: levels started, won or lost, boosters used, ads watched, purchases made in the Game, session length and similar in-game events.
  • Crash and performance information: crash reports, error logs and the state of the device when a crash happens.
  • Network information: your IP address, which our partners receive when the Game connects to their services.

b. Information about purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive the product purchased, the purchase status and an order identifier so that we can deliver the item. We never receive or store your card or payment details.

c. Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

d. Information stored only on your device

Your game progress (levels, coins, lives, boosters, settings) is saved on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the Game or clearing its data deletes it.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • run the Game, deliver purchased items and restore non-consumable purchases such as No Ads;
  • understand how players use the Game, balance difficulty and improve levels and features;
  • find and fix crashes and bugs;
  • adjust game settings remotely (for example offers and difficulty) without an app update;
  • show ads, and personalised ads only where you have allowed it;
  • answer your messages and support requests;
  • detect fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland). We rely on our legitimate interests to run, secure and improve the Game; on the performance of our contract with you to provide the Game and the items you buy; on your consent for personalised advertising where the law requires it; and on legal obligations where they apply.

4. Advertising

The Game shows ads served by Google AdMob:

  • Interstitial ads may appear between levels.
  • Rewarded ads are optional: you choose to watch one to get an in-game reward.

AdMob may use your Advertising ID, IP address and device information to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud.

Your choices:

  • If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent when it starts, using Google’s consent tool, before any ad is requested. If you have not given the choices needed for ads, the Game may ask again.
  • To change your choice later, clear the Game’s data (Settings › Apps › Juicy Smash › Storage › Clear data): the consent dialog appears again the next time you open the Game. Clearing data also deletes your progress on that device. You can also contact us (section 12).
  • In your device settings (Settings › Google › Ads or Settings › Privacy › Ads) you can delete or reset your Advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads.

Buying No Ads removes interstitial ads; rewarded ads remain available because you choose to watch them.

5. Third-party services

We share information with these service providers only so that they can provide their service to us. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Service Purpose Privacy policy
Google AdMob Advertising policies.google.com/privacy
Google Firebase Analytics Usage statistics firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google Firebase Crashlytics Crash reports firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google Firebase Remote Config Remote game settings firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google Play Billing In-app purchases policies.google.com/privacy

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of players, or to a buyer or successor if the Game is sold or transferred.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing your Advertising ID with our advertising partner for personalised ads may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state laws. You can opt out using the choices in section 4.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, which may have different data protection laws from your country. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses used by these providers.

7. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above:

  • analytics data is kept for a limited period set in Firebase;
  • crash reports are kept for about 90 days;
  • support emails are kept until your request is resolved and for a reasonable time afterwards.

Information stored on your device stays there until you clear the Game’s data or uninstall it.

8. Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access, correct or delete your personal information;
  • object to or restrict its processing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time;
  • opt out of targeted advertising;
  • receive your data in a portable format.

To make a request, email kiska6620@gmail.com with the subject “Juicy Smash privacy request”. Because the Game has no accounts, we may ask for information that helps us find the data linked to your device. We will reply within the time required by law, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, and our providers use industry-standard security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The new version is posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the Game or on this page.
